Technical Reviews for Manufacturers and Supply Chains

The Green Suppliers Network works with large manufacturers to engage their suppliers in low-cost technical reviews to identify strategies for improving process lines and using materials more efficiently. The Lean and Clean Advantage targets and eliminates the root causes of waste. The result—a stronger bottom line.

Engage Small and Medium-Sized Suppliers in Low-Cost Technical Reviews for Lean and Clean Improvements

The Green Suppliers Network is a collaborative venture among industry, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP) Green Suppliers Network works with large manufacturers to engage their small and medium-sized suppliers in low-cost technical reviews that employ Lean and Clean methodologies to increase productivity, reduce waste, and boost profitability.

The Green Suppliers Network welcomes all United States manufacturers to participate in the Network technical reviews. Preference is given to small and medium sized enterprises who meet the SBA definition of small business.

Green Suppliers Network reviews can help you:

  • Find customized solutions to your manufacturing challenges
  • Save money and increase capacity
  • See immediate results through hands-on training on the shop floor

  • To review product specifications that have an environmental impact on the supply chain.
  • To support or mentor a supplier through the implementation of Green Suppliers Network review recommendations at the supplier's request, if appropriate and available.

The Green Suppliers Network works collaboratively with Performance Track, Sustainable Futures, and Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE).
