This free service from the National Restaurant Association allows you to search for healthy fare by location and provides nutrition charts for their menu selection.
People are trying to eat healthier foods these days, and one of the biggest obstacles to doing this is finding healthy foods when dining out.
Find healthy food by city
Plug in the city you're going to within the US to search by price point and whether you'll eat in or take-out. Healthy Dining Finder lists a variety of restaurants, a selection of their menu items and nutritional analysis.
Some of the low cost options for Los Angeles include all the usual suspects of chains such as: Quiznos, Koo-Koo-Roo, and even Burger King. The value of these listings is that nutritional information is clearly provided on all their foods -- a way to plan ahead and compare restaurants!
Casual to Upscale Dining in the midrange include 65 restaurants with 379 locations within 50 miles. Good selection of chains such as Chili's, Sizzler and P.F. Chang's... and local specialty restaurants.
Upscale restaurants in Los Angeles included just a couple within 10 miles, but a robust selection within 50 miles.
