Green trade summit in Santa Cruz showcases alternatives to oil
Last year's event The event brought about 150 people to Santa Cruz and is expected to return next year. The message, loud and clear: Green is not just a color. It's a mind-set around the world.

- Jeremiah Ridenour, founder of Wise Solutions in Corralitos, talked about his green chemistry formula for cleaning tanks used by wineries and dairies.

The Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) will be holding their Santa Cruz seminar/ luncheon chapter meeting on July 31st at the Fuji International Buffet on July 31St entitled ’Global Supply Chains and the Opportunities They Bring’, sponsored by SGS North America Inc. (www.sgs.com)
This event will begin with a seminar entitled ‘Small Business in The Global Supply Chains’ led by Dr. William Goldsborough, Partner of Logistic Alliance Strategies and Associates who will present key macro economic conditions that confront our business community as the global recession recedes.
What are large multinationals doing to develop supply chain logistic excellence, review emerging logistic trends and tools? Dr. Goldsborough will conclude with suggestions of what small enterprises that are importing and exporting must do to stay globally competitive going forward.
